Am I really growing up?

OK! So this year is marking a lot of new changes. I am turning 23 in a few weeks. I will be graduating in July. I will start student teaching hopefully in Las Vegas in August or September.

I ALSO REGISTERED FOR MY LAST SET OF CLASSES!!!! WOOP! I don't think I have ever been more excited to wake up at 5:45 and wait to click a button. I am SO pumped. I feel like this is a great mark in my education. The fact that I no longer have to register for classes in college EVER is room enough for me to do a little dance all by myself.

Also, I have lost 11 pounds since I was at home in GA! I was so excited to see that! 10 of those are from the Biggest Winner program that I have participated in. I can tell some difference especially in my face. Let me show you what I mean.

This is a picture of me when I got my student teaching picture done. This is also what I looked like last semester, even when I was working out all the time

This is me now!

I definitely think I have made some progress and not to mention the fact that I feel pretty good. I put on an outfit on today and as I was looking in the mirror, I started to check myself out. Conceited? No, I am simply telling myself I look smokin hot!

Much Love,

Oh hello Sunday

I woke up this morning with a huge headache and it literally pained me to roll out of bed this morning. Why you might ask was I in pain? Let me tell you.

Yesterday (Saturday) morning, I became really ambitious and decided that I was going to work out. Not such a bad idea right? I was feeling really good and I actually shaved off 30 seconds of my mile. So since last semester I have taken it down from 16:00 to 11:30. I was super pumped. Then I did the weight lifting as usual, because I also need to tone up.

Well then I was an idiot. Because I had a challenge with my team for the Biggest Winner on campus. I assumed (and I say assumed with the utmost importance) that we were going to have an easier challenge. I was wrong.

We did a minute to win it activity, where on top of running/jogging another mile, I had to complete a series of challenges from push-ups to crab walks and then to a balloon run with a partner from my team. Needless to say after 2 more hours of working, I was beat, and my body is showing me this today.

I did get to take a nap, laugh the whole time I was in church, and get to enjoy a long drive with a friend and watch Rexburg disappear in the mirror. It was a much needed day. Minus the hurting part.

Much Love,

Yes. That is right. I have started to blog again.

Why you might ask? No I am not getting married, I definitely do not have children. I am simply finding another way to waste time and most likely relieve myself of some stress and ranting. I feel like this is a more creative outlet than most right?

All of my friends are blogging too, so I thought I would join in on the fun.

There are a lot of things coming up, that I want to share with the world, and more importantly my friends and family. These things are literally changing me everyday, and I am finding new things out about myself and how I work as a person. I am also figuring out STILL how to manage being around certain people, which makes for an interesting learning experience.

I also wanted to share with you guys what I have been doing as far as getting healthy, and making small little life adjustments each day. So, I will give you information about my progress, and ways that you too can stay healthier and maybe try some things out for yourself. I promise that you will not regret it, because since I have become aware of my own body, I have managed to change myself only for the better.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a perfect person, and there are days that I have my weak moments, but I will not let those weak moments take over my life. There is no going back from where I was, because I see the future and it is much brighter.

So please enjoy my posts and I will certainly make it a point to enjoy everyone else's!

Much Love,
Lo
